Barclays Purchase of Egg Credit Card Accounts

Following on from the announcement on 1st March 2011, Barclays has completed the purchase of Egg’s UK credit card assets.

What does this mean for Egg credit card customers?

For now, nothing changes. If you're an Egg credit card customer you can continue to use your card in the usual way. You should manage your accounts as you always have, online at egg.com. You can also still make the most of all of the benefits your account has to offer by visiting the 'Benefits and features' section of egg.com.

If after reading them Egg customers have any further questions, please send a message by logging into 'Your accounts' at egg.com and selecting the option to 'Contact us'. All you have to do then is select 'Barclays transfer question' from the drop down box.

We'll be in touch with all Egg credit card customers to give more information about the transfer of accounts, and in the coming months customers will be told about the Barclaycard credit card that will replace their existing Egg credit card. Barclaycard and Egg are committed to ensuring the transfer is as smooth as possible.
